Terri Drake is a fourth year candidate at the Institute for Contemporary Psychoanalysis. She has been licensed for 10 years as a Marriage and Family Therapist, working primarily with individuals. She has conducted trainings in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorders, Attachment styles, Self Psychology, and Control/ Mastery Therapy. She is the prior president of the Santa Cruz Chapter of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and a past member of the Red Cross Disaster Mental Health team. In addition to supervising interns for the past 6 years at a non-profit counseling center, she has worked with a wide variety of clients, including survivors of trauma, people dealing with adoption or infertility issues, veterans, people with bulimia, binge eating, and anorexia. Further she has successfully worked with people who have seen a number of therapists and were unable to feel connected to them.
