Robert Carrere, Ph.D., ABPP
Bob Carrere, Ph.D., ABPP is board certified in psychoanalysis psychology by the American Board of Professional psychology since 2003. He is a member, faculty, supervisor and personal analyst of the Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis and the Psychoanalytic Institute of Northern California. He has taught a variety of psychoanalytic courses for the past ten years such as Caring and Dread in the Treatment of the Traumatized Self, Winnicott, Working with Destructive Aggression, Transference/Countertransference, and others. He specializes in group process consultation for therapists and analysts. For fifteen years he was actively involved in the training of clinical psychologists in APA-accredited internship training programs as primary supervisor, director of training or consultant. He is in full time private practice in San Francisco.
