Lynne Oliva, M.A., M.F.T., is an advanced Ph.D. candidate at the Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis with a private practice in Westwood specializing in work with artists and writers. Ms. Oliva also has extensive training and experience working with couples and is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. In addition to a master’s degree in clinical psychology, she has a master’s degree in art history and a background in both the performing and visual arts. She is currently working on her dissertation and a related book on art, desire, and the unconscious.
