Ilene Philipson holds doctorates in both clinical psychology and sociology. In addition to her clinical practice in Oakland, CA, she is the author of numerous articles and books on work, gender, and social psychology. Her work has been featured in the San Francisco Chronicle, Oakland Tribune, Fast Company Magazine, Time, Tikkun, The Family Therapy Networker, International Journal of Psychoanalytic Self Psychology, and on National Public Radio, KQED, KGO and KRON.
