Astrid Davidson, Psy.D.
Dr. Davidson has a Psy.D. from the California School of Professional Psychology as well as a Master’s degree in Psychology. She has been practicing for over ten years. She serves a multicultural population (English and Spanish) and works extensively with people struggling to understand their relationship difficulties, resolve traumatic experiences, and bring to awareness how family of origin issues can influence present relationships, personality traits, and self-esteem. Dr. Davidson has extensive experience working with adults, children, adolescents, couples, and families. She values where the individual is at a particular point in time and works with the person to promote growth, personal fulfillment, and enrichment. Each individual is a unique being; admittedly, this impinges on how to promote development, contentment, and satisfaction in one’s life, encompassing a holistic approach. Dr. Davidson’s holistic approach appreciates every aspect of an individual’s life and the significance of understanding the relationship among the distinct characteristics within oneself as well as with the different relationships we have.
