Extension Division Program
PSYCHOANALYTIC FOUNDATIONS
This program is open to licensed and pre-licensed mental health professionals.
The first year program focuses on core psychoanalytic concepts, theories and approaches to clinical practice. The classes represent a survey of ICP training as well as an introduction to contemporary psychoanalytic thinking. For each of the six topics, one class meeting will be devoted to theoretical discussion and the following meeting will focus on clinical application and case discussion. Curriculum is designed in consultation with current students.
