WEBINAR CLASSES

PSYCHOANALYSIS IN THE 21ST CENTURY: CONTEMPORARY PERSPECTIVES

Download a copy of the Webinar brochure here.

Course Description

The Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis is pleased to offer our first Webinar, “Psychoanalysis in the 21st Century – Contemporary Perspectives.” This innovative course is offered especially for anyone, especially clinicians who live and practice in geographically diverse areas and who want to stay abreast of the rapid developments in contemporary psychoanalytic theory. The Webinar format enables participants to engage in dialogue with others who share an interest in contemporary ideas and theories without incurring the expense and time of traveling to meet in person.

Program Structure

Participants in the Webinar will “meet” in cyberspace in real time by signing into a “seminar room” to engage in a learning process with senior training and supervising analysts from the ICP community. Students will be able to see and hear the instructor. Questions during class will be addressed through the use of on-line chat. Following each class, the facilitator, the instructor of the class, and students will participate in an on-line colloquium to facilitate discussion about the clinical application of contemporary psychoanalytic concepts.
