ICP BAY AREA PROGRAM
Extension Program
The ICPBA Extension Program affords students a learning environment steeped in the inspiration of contemporary psychoanalytic thought, built on a rich heritage of psychoanalytic theory and featuring profound advances in clinical knowledge.
Our Extension classes are part of our reorganized program focusing on a comparative evaluation of major contemporary models of psychoanalytic psychotherapy theory and practice. Appreciation for our inescapable embeddedness in contexts of relationship, history, diversity, and culture, informs our conception of these models.
The First Year Extension Foundations Class will meet on a monthly basis for eight months. CEs will be awarded for completion of the program.
Saturday Series Program
Advanced students may partake in Saturday Series Seminars that meet once a month for 12 months. 3 CEs will be awarded for each Series attended.
